Free Disability Etiquette Classes!

logoRckyMtnADASometimes we just don’t know what to say to a guy riding on top of a flaming hot rod wheelchair.  Well, let one or both of these free online etiquette classes sponsored by the Rocky Mountain ADA Center relieve some of that confusion and tension.  Check out what Fox21News says about the trainings:

(FOX21News.com)  More than 59 million Americans have some kind of disability yet many people are unaware of proper etiquette when it comes to interacting with the disabled community, which happens to be the largest minority group in the country.  The Rocky Mountain ADA Center is hoping to change that by offering two free online courses on disability etiquette.”

Rockin’ Independence Day- Awesome in Action Style!

What an Awesome feeling to march with the AiA team for the Independence Day parade in Fort Collins.

Nick’s favorite part was having all his friends, and their dogs, join him to represent Awesome in Action.

Although it was quite warm, we all did a stellar job keeping up and waving flags.
Thanks to all who joined, and for those who couldn’t make it….there’s always next year!
