27 Years of the Americans With Disabilities Act

Department of Justice seal On July 26, 2017, the Department of Justice published “27 Years of the Americans with Disabilities Act,” and Nick was so busy hanging out at the Ability Fest in Fort Collins, that he forgot to remind all of the Nicksters and you, his followers!
So, in a time of political uncertainty and tension, we here at AiA would like you to know that because of this piece of legislation 27 years ago, Nick is able to enjoy a quality of life from simple breathing, nourishment, outdoor water sports, to community speaking events like his 2015 TEDxFrontRange speech, or taking an evening  “roll” through the neighborhood as the sun sets.
Thank you ADA, former President George HW Bush, and all your proponents in Congress.  You and the folks who adhered to the law made an incredibly positive change in our world and are what being awesome is all about!  Awesome in Action
