Last month, Nick and his job coach had the pleasure of including several students in the production of a promotional video for Awesome in Action. Working with students at Ripple Effect in a real live classroom setting helped Nick and his Awesome in Action team realize just how dedicated these individuals are. In this black belt immersion program, students are extremely disciplined and astonishingly talented.

Although we had a blast, it was a  challenge to persevere through several hours of filming.

All involved had to remain focused and give it their best in order to create the best shots for the film.  For the younger actors, this was especially tough!

Thank you to all of the film participants, You were all great actors, and we loved working with each and every one of you!

Special kudos and thanks, to “ninja Nick” (Nate Zwisler, who will be 12 in July), who had quite the work out during the battle scene.

Nick and his team had so much fun watching Nate battle 3 adult instructors, and pile them on top of each other over and over again for the film! We got tired of counting the number of takes that were filmed of this scene, but Nate NEVER got tired! He is a very resilient and hard working karate master!

Hiya! Nate always had a strong finishing battle cry!

Nick  especially loved chasing Nate down in his own battle at the end of the filming session.

We are so excited to see THAT epic battle footage!

We are lucky to utilize the experienced and talented videographer, Jamie Peak, and her team. Jamie worked hard with all involved to get the shots she needed for her video creation.
