COVID Safe Activities: Week 3
We’ve moved into November, and it’s getting chilly!
As we stay indoors more with this colder weather it is more challenging to stay busy and happy while also staying safe.
One of Nick’s favorite things to do when it gets colder is to grab a warm blanket and a cozy pillow and watch some of his favorite movies. Movie nights are a great way to relax, and you can also invite vaccinated friends over to watch with you!
With the holidays coming up, now is a great time to stay indoors and practice your baking! Not only will the oven help keep the house warm, but you’ll have a tasty treat to share with friends or to eat during your movie night.
Nick’s favorite thing to make is cheesecake! He loves making cheesecake for his family and friends for special occasions or just because. You can adapt recipes to fit so many different dietary restrictions too.
Cooking and baking is a great way to get some sensory stimulation!
Winter will be here soon, and Nick is looking forward to more movie nights and baking more tasty treats. Nick says his favorite part of the holidays is how much good food people get to eat. He can’t wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
What will you do this season to stay happy and healthy?
