Fort Collins Comic Con – August 2022
Nick was lucky enough to be part of Fort Collins Comic Con at the Northside Aztlan Community Center as a vendor and panelist again this year!
Fort Collins Comic Con is one of Nick’s favorite events and he was so pleased to be back in person this year.
Nick’s favorite part of Comic Con are the costumes and cosplays. He gets a little anxious they might be scary, but has so much fun seeing everyone’s creativity.
Nick’s panel, Anyone Can Be a Hero, focuses on helping people find their inner strengths and super powers by focusing on what they are good at and how they make a difference in their community.
On Friday August 26th, Nick set up his booth, and Saturday and Sunday the con was on!
Nick’s booth featured a mask making station for people to create their super alter egos, and it was a huge success.
Nick made a lot of great community connections and shared information about Awesome in Action and his message with tons of people. He loved seeing the masks kids made to show their super hero alter egos.
Nick is so grateful to Fort Collins Comic Con, Nick Armstrong, and all the staff, volunteers, and other vendors who make the event so special. He can’t wait until next year!
What do you think Nick should dress up as at Fort Collins Comic Con 2023?
Wicked West Expo 2022 – IT’S HAPPENING!
Wicked West Expo is finally happening! Originally planned for 2020, the Expo was delayed due to COVID-19.
Nick and the Awesome in Action team are so excited to share that Nick will have a booth both days of the event and a panel on Sunday, time to be announced. Nick’s panel is called Anyone Can Be a Hero and features Nick sharing some of his strengths and helping the audience find their inner superpowers!
The Expo takes place from 10:00AM to 6:00PM on April 2nd and 3rd. The Expo will be in the First National Bank Building at the Ranch Events Complex.
It would mean so much to Nick and the team if his community could come support him at Wicked West! As we transition back into in person opportunities, the nerves are running high but so is the excitement. We are pumped to be part of this fun filled event.
Use it as an excuse to dress up as your favorite character, bring the kids, and check out some amazing exhibitors.
You do need to purchase tickets for the event, they are $15 for ages 12 and up, and $5 for ages 11 and under. The ticket covers access to both days of the events. You can purchase tickets by clicking this link.
